As a loosely knit network of enthusiasts, professionals, and interested newcomers, Gourmet Underground Detroit is a community-based organization dedicated to the propagation of  local gastronomic knowledge.

We’re interested in all aspects of food and drink from art to economics, farm to table, gathered to grown. Regardless of expertise, our community tries to share information, so communication and events (everything from wine tastings to picnics) are among our primary efforts.
